Personal Overview

Wafa Almukadi is a PhD student in the Human-Centered Design program. In 2010, she joined the faculty staff of the Information Systems Department of the College of Computing and Information Technology of King AbdulAziz University KAAU in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She is still working as a lectural and supervisor of information system department. She taught several courses such as computer skills for beginners, system analysis and design, software engineering, structured computer organization, and principles of human-computer interaction.She worked as a programmer (2004-2007) in the Information Technology Department of Zahid Tractor Company. Her Job was to rebuild the web site of the company and its sister's company, provide support, analyze problems, and build useful tools for the department using RBG, HTML, CSS, PHP and SQL. In 2010, she received her master degree in Management Information Systems from University of Central Florida, and an SPA certificate. She got her bachelor's degree is in Computer Science from KAAU with honor degree in 2004. She is interested in interaction design, education, web design and usability.
